He posted on Truth Social "Happy Memorial Day" followed by a bunch of slams of the radical Leftists. But the big error, for me, is "happy" Memorial Day.
So there you go, have at it.

I couldn't find it, but do you remember when littlelady started a thread titled Happy Memorial Day? Boy did she get jumped on that day. It might have been under one of her other names I guess. I wonder what happened to her. I was thinking about her this morning when I read what Trump had written and for some reason it popped into my head that she was NEVER going to leave the forum. NEVER.Well...he's not wrong. But a Memorial Day post isn't the time for that, and the "happy" part always irks me when people say "Happy Memorial Day".
..understand your point, not sure how I should express it when greeted.Well...he's not wrong. But a Memorial Day post isn't the time for that, and the "happy" part always irks me when people say "Happy Memorial Day".
How else would you mention it to someone?Well...he's not wrong. But a Memorial Day post isn't the time for that, and the "happy" part always irks me when people say "Happy Memorial Day".
Maybe she died.I couldn't find it, but do you remember when littlelady started a thread titled Happy Memorial Day? Boy did she get jumped on that day. I wouldn't put it past her to post from hell.Maybe she died.
I'm betting she took an Uber and ended up in the wrong spot and super shoes left her there.Maybe she died.
She could be hanging out with Wenchy. They were great friends after one phone call!I wouldn't put it past her to post from hell.
..understand your point, not sure how I should express it when greeted.
What do you say?
...ahhh thanks.I don't really think of it like Christmas or Thanksgiving or something where it's polite to use it as a greeting. Maybe "Enjoy your day" or something like that.
That's April 25th...I think mentioning it in any way keeps it in people's minds.
I love Columbus day because it's the perfect weather to have an extra day off, but nobody thinks about it or really cares except a few staunchly Italian pockets of population.
Although I don't say "Happy Memorial Day" to anyone, I don't necessarily think it's wrong. It's ok to be happy on a somber occasion if it's because you are laughing and sharing (and making) happy memories. Maybe saying have a "good" one would be a little more fitting? I can have a good time remembering loved ones with others. I may not be "happy", but it's what I've got of them and I'm glad for the fact that I have those memories.Well...he's not wrong. But a Memorial Day post isn't the time for that, and the "happy" part always irks me when people say "Happy Memorial Day".
