You let your cat sleep on your stove?
One of my neighbors found her and gave her to me. we couldnt figure where this sweet baby came from, she seemed healthy. Anyway, I have her for 2 weeks and then the kid down the street comes over and says "Oh, you got a ner kitty. I lost one that looks just like her". Im like OH SH!T!. I go talk to them, and yes its theirs. I tell them how attached I am to her and can I go get them another. They said yes, I go to the shelter and now they have a new kitty and so do I. Im glad it allworked out. I didnt want to give her back. They didnt go house to house or put up a sign , nothing. She loves the stove after the oven has been on.
This disturbs me more than the cat on the stove thing. Apparently these folks don't care too much about their pets, seeing they traded theirs for another one.
It bothered me too, but what was I suppose to do? Either give them back this one or get them another. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Im hoping they take better care of the one they have now.
How many dogs will die to ensure her safety?

They got his kitten for their 3 small kids. Oldest is 7. Other 2 are under 3. They just wanted a cat for the kids. So as long as I got them a grey one, thats all they want. After 2 weeks, they got over losing her, I guess. They seemed fine. If they had come within a couple days I would of gladly given them the kitten back. But 2 weeks, Shes mine. And remember, shes just a small kitten, they didnt have her very long to get to attached.
Looks like this new kitty is in for a similar fate. If they didn't care enough to keep an eye on this one, why should they the new one??
