In 2021, Damar Hamlin signed a 4-year contract worth $3,640,476.

The contract included a $160,476 signing bonus, $160,476 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $910,119.

In 2022, Hamlin was set to earn a base salary of $825,000, but his injury now means his future paychecks from the NFL may be coming to an end.

In order to get a pension from the NFL, former players must have at least three credited seasons in the league, Hamlin only has two.

Over the past days we saw the story of the 82 year old (Navy veteran) WalMart employee who was barely making ends meet. A business owner told his story and set up a Go Fund Me account for him to retire and enjoy his remaining years. Thats a GREAT story. Well, he finally retired and got a salute from the community. ( a little over 100K) GREAT!!!

Yup. American's priorities are all out of wack. There is way too much virtue signaling going on when it comes to players in the felon league.

It's not a generic black white problem, the races could have been reversed here with the same outcome. But it's a matter of choices, the black guy could have went the way of so many others and decided he wanted the quick buck by selling crack. The white guy could have made sacrifices and improved his education and gotten into a lucrative profession.
