It's a great bike, very versatile. I've got the DL1000. Cruise all day on the highway, have never been able to drag a peg in the twisties and check out the YouTube link for off road.

Thanks, that fording is nuts. Id never imaging trying water that deep. The intake must be pretty well shielded to go through water thats waist deep or deeper.

I think that water was around 20" deep
most bikes now have an airbox under the tank. That's 2-3 ft off the ground.
