:yikes:

I have NO idea how it got into the house, but it cooperated when I grabbed a bucket and coaxed it in it with a stick. It was happily deposited on my rosemary bush outside.

Awesome?

:killingme

I cleaned 1000's of them off my truck, had to swat at them with an umbrella in hand and they would still hitch hike onto your clothes and crawl all over you, when I was up in Baltimore last year. There were very few down in this area, but for those that had to live where they were swarming, it was like an Alfred Hitchcock film. Freaked me out.

I have seen several of those this year Jazz. praying mantis right? Lets just hope you don't hear the cricket he might have been looking for tonight.

Yes, it was definitely a praying mantis. The picture is kind of blurry because I was trying to keep my cat from chasing it. I've got a lot of them outside. This is the first one that has managed to make it inside. It must have hitched a ride on something.

Thankfully, there are no crickets in the house. I would have to go on a search and destroy mission. The last time I did that, I broke a lamp in a hotel room. :lmao:

Ugh. Cicadas are nasty. I hate most bugs, but the praying mantis is pretty cool.

Just remember, the praying mantis is NOT harmless! :peace:

Eewww, bugs.
Preying Mantis' are considered good luck. Is it still illegal to kill them? It used to be a long time ago.

Of course not, the mantis ate them :yay:
I think Praying (or is it preying) Manitis' are great, and they are supposed to bring good luck..
We had a huge one on our front door for a whole day, no matter what I did he just stayed right there.

Did have a small guest try to hitch a ride the other night, not so much a good luck charm, especially for him..
