Why do we find it necessary to spend money to tell someone we love them? Valentines Day is forced love..........I believe that if you love someone you show it spur of the minute...not because Hallmark tells you to. The same with the winter holidays........Everyone goes way into debt because society tells us to....what happened to home made/baked gifts? I get so depressed at the holidays, because everyone worries so much about what to get someone, will they like it, what if they think I'm cheep.....Too much pressure! Gift giving is supposed to be fun, society has made it awful!

Am I being to synical?

Nope! Not at all... I say suprise the heck out of him and throw him down in the tool shed next time he goes to get a rake or to get the lawn mower out...won't cost a thing with the exception of a misplaced splinter if the shed has wooden floors...:dance:
