I've been a member of the local union for atleast 4 years and paid my weekly dues of $10.50. A whopping $588 dollars a year. $2,350 for all four years roughly. Needless to say, the union hasn't done jack for me yet. I just applied for a college scholarship through them. I don't even know if I'll get that.

Let's confirm things. I hate unions, they have outlived their usefulness and usually only serve to protect the marginal or lazy worker. However, I find it disturbing when government agents arrest someone for heckling the president. And as much as you all quote the constitution on this board (especially the second amendment) you should read the first amendment sometime.
