:yay: The Wave Petunias are great. Very hardy, lots of blooms, and very long-lasting. I have several planted in pots on my front porch:

...down there are they???

Not up here.

Not WINTER hardy - hardy in "vigorous growers."

...well then say 'vigorous'. Hardy is hardy. I thought I was about to learn 'sumpin because I don't doubt the Jazz when it comes to gardening!

 If I had meant "WINTER hardy" I would have explicitly said so. Hardy can mean (from dictionary.com) "capable of surviving unfavorable conditions, such as cold weather or lack of moisture. Used especially of cultivated plants." So it's just not about surviving the cold. :coffee:
