So, my 2 will be freshman this year. Does high school have school supply lists like elem and middle, or can we just buy what we need/want? I can't find any list. I think it would be easier to just have 1 big binder divided into the different subjects instead of needing seperate supplies for every class.

When I was in school the first day I just took a note book and a few pens/pencils. Each teacher told us what they wanted and we had a week to get it. It's usually just a 3 ring binder with dividers for each subject/teacher.

Better off w/ different notebooks. Either 1 for each or 1 for pre-lunch and 1 for post-lunch depending on if they can get to their locker between classes.

To my knowledge, there is not a standard list for HS. My experience has been that you should wait until you get the list from each teacher, because they are all so different. Chances are you won't get what the teachers want. (a fate worse than death to most of the kids! )

Of course, the kids always need pencils, paper, pens, highlighters, etc.
