I can't find one nearby. Is there a store that has an extensive inventory of Hispanic canned and frozen items? Seasonings?

We used to frequent 1 in Bastrop, TX when we were rolling around. Stepping into that place, it felt like I needed a passport.

I checked it out - and it had exactly all the things we were looking for - save one. The girl at the counter however, was able to tell us EXACTLY where we could find it.

We will be back.

Daughter is making some kind of soup for her Spanish class. It needs stuff like alinos and frozen yuca cassavas.
I'm - "lucky" - I have a Colombian sister in law and her daughter - but we're still on our own.

Making soup is what that place was known for, years ago it was known as Las Primos where they had an issue with cooking either a horse head or a cows head (up for debate) that got out of hand.
