Man thats messed up, I heard it was cause they dont have enough busses to do it all at once?
You would think in a county with only 3 high schools and with what they tax us they would have enough buses. What the hell does the tax money go for here anyway?

The county doesn't own any of the buses. They have contracts with about 200 private bus owners. The rules they have for those contracts make it impossible for Joe Shmoo to go out and buy a bus and get a contract. The contracts are handed down from parent to child. Most of the bus drivers are farmers, because they can't live off farming, they can't live off driving a bus and they can stop farming, do a bus run and go back to the farm when they are done, plus they have all summer off for the harvest.czygvtwkr said:

Reading this thread, I was kind of thinking what bhanks said; you gals are taking the responsiblity to get up with your kids, making sure they get a good breakfast, are properly dressed and are ready for school. My mom did the same for me. Kudos to all of you!Look at it in another light: it's a way for you all to shine!
