“The ‘Tall’ Friend,” the 6-foot-10 Texan wrote over a TikTok clip of herself proudly standing next to a list of ways her record-breaking height has made socializing a challenge, including “confident but insecure,” “only good at sports,” and “attracts creeps.”

I feel sorry for that girl...teens are normally confused about their identity, girls being more likely to be introverted... Now shes going to grab worldwide attention and be labeled....

Have a niece that was 5'10" in 3rd grade, pictures of her with her classmates made her look like she was the teacher. Luckily (IMO), she stopped growing. Now she's a 5'11" mother of 2, very pretty young lady, and a nurse practitioner up at Johns Hopkins.

My mother was 5'11" and that was really tall for her generation but approaching 7' is a whole nother world.

I was the giant of the family at 5'2".

Then my sister and I each had a daughter, with tall fathers. They tower over us all now.

My niece, all 5 foot 100 pounds of her, married a 7 foot tall guy. At the wedding reception, she had to stand on a chair for the sharing of the cake. He is not particularly thin, either. Their teenage son will not be as tall as his Dad but Susie is dwarfed by both of them.

sounds almost like me and my husband I had to wear 4" platform shoes for the wedding....had a pair of sandals stashed for after the first dance, which still ended up looking silly from our height differences our son already seems to be taking after him: longest baby the nurses had seen born in a long time.
