Dont forget to get the girl a corsage!! I couldnt believe there were only like 4 or 5 other guys that got them for their dates last year. WTH is wrong w/ these parents

If you have more than one son, get plastic, then have them get it back from the girl at the end of the night.. can save money in the longrun..

We got dress slacks, dress shoes, colored shirt with accenting tie.
Girlfriend no suit, it was a class C event
I ask what's a class C?
Class C - Homecoming (Dress pants/shirt)
Class B - Prom (Suit)
Class A - Miltary Ball (Tux)
I thought the kids still wore tuxes to prom.

Really? Wow most girls at our school got them, you were uber special if you got additional flowers like a bouqet of roses or something.Nobody had them for homecoming when I was in school. And if you did, you were a nerd.
What about going to dinner before hand? Before we could drive the parents would drop us off at a restaurant then take us to the dance. For bigger dances like Prom we all chipped in and got a limo, senior year we all got a hotel room too. Kinda thought all those things were standard at all HS :shrug:
My sons girlfriend said there were only a few other girls that had them and she heard a lot of "why didnt you get me a corsage"Oh that's cool.
Ick I personally think tuxes are ugly. I much prefer a guy in a nice suit.

well now i'm irked I can remember every dress I wore to homecoming except my junior year. maybe i'll have to peak through the photo albums this weekend and see if there are any pictures.
I'm pretty sure what I wore in '74 is still in the closet.
Everything always comes back in fashion sooner or later.
