Don't think you can compare the two. Monica was an intern working towards a career for herself who I do think had feelings for Clinton. She was not a prostitute making money selling her body to any man willing to pay for it.

Why can't you compare the two? They were both selling (monica was not a monetary gain, but more of a business move if you get my meaning ) their goods and services to further their career/income :shrug:

Look at the difference in the work that's why I don't think you can compare the two. You always hear how much charisma Clinton has and how friendly, etc. he is. I think in many ways Monica was just a young woman who probably looked as him as her mentor and got caught up w/the attention he gave to her where I do think her feelings took over for him. She may have gained some fame, but was it good fame - no, did it help her career any - no because she was ridiculed by many and still is for what she did.

Do you really hear this other woman being badmouthed by others for sleeping w/Spitzer? Not really, because she was a prostitute and doing what she does for a living.

Just think the whole Clinton/Monica scandal needs to be put in the past. It happened what almost 8 years ago and people still have not let it go. The Clintons moved on so think others need to too.

Very little blame in this matter goes to a very young, dumb woman dazzled by power and charisma. A man with his responsibilities should be expected to know how to deal with fawning girls.

I get he lied, but he is also a man and like many other men and women in this world things happen no matter how much responsibility they have and how important they may be. People act like Clinton is the only person who ever cheated on their spouse. He got caught, he and his family dealt w/it and they moved on. Everybody loved Pres. Kennedy, but supposedly he too had his women, but nobody critizes him for it. Nobody is perfect - I just think, people dwell too much on the past.
