Horse Needs a Home

Hi,

I am new to this forum, but someone suggested it as a possible way to get help.
My daughter's horse needs a loving, caring home as sson as possible. I am moving and cannot take Blitz with me, and my daughter is no longer around to care for her.
Blitz is a 18 yo 16 h.h. TB than would make a wonderful companion horse or just very light riding only. She is sweet natured and very easy to be around. I am not asking for any money for her, as I feel she deserves more than to just be sold to any old person. She is UTD on her shots, and sees the farrier every six weeks, and had a clean bill of health from the vet about 4 months ago.
Blitz has been a wonderful friend to me through many stressful events over the last few years, so this is a heart breaking decision, but her best interests are first and foremost.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks
Jayne

You might want to post this at your vets office and let the farrier know... They may know someone that may be able to take her.. Giving her away for free, opens all kinds of ill will for her. Some people will get a horse just because and have no idea how to care for them...

Another thing you might think about is to find someone that can keep her and care for her until they can find her a proper home.

Good luck and best to you both.
