Horseback Riding

Is there a place around here (St. Mary's County) to pay to go rent a horse and ride for a few hours? I'd ask the horsie forums, but I've banned myself from there. TIA

I did that once here in Charles County years ago. Didn't find it the greatest thing as it wasn't so much me riding a horse it was more as if the horse took me for it's normal ride. The horse knew where it was going, my steering wheel, speed pedal and brake pedal didn't work at all. I was just along for the ride like in a taxi cab.

I don't think there is anywhere in St. Mary's that offers guided trail rides now. There were some a few years ago. I think the closest place is Piscataway in Charles County. Somewhere in the horse forum there was a link, I'll see if I can find it for you... since you banned yourself from there...

I went there about 2 weeks ago...and went on an hour trail ride. It was actually alot of fun, and the scenery was pretty.
