Fox’s Trey Gowdy Reports House Republicans Are At Each Other’s Throats and ‘Trying Couples Counseling For People Who Want to Kill Each Other’

“I don’t think this is about Jimmy,” Gowdy, who is a weekend host on Fox News, told Martha MacCallum after calling in to The Story. “It is about his supporters. And that is what I am consistently hearing up to, and including in the last hour. It is not Jim Jordan. It is the fact that Kevin McCarthy was the victim of a drive-by shooting orchestrated by a small group of people and Stevie Scalise got one crack at it. What they said to Stevie, ‘Ok, you had your chance. You couldn’t get to 217 or 218. Now it’s not your chance anymore.'”

Gowdy was likely referring to the strong-arm tactics Jordan’s supporters have been reportedly using while lobbying on his behalf. He then offered a jarring assessment of the ongoing meetings Republicans are having at the Capitol.

“Look, politics is always fractured, Martha,” he said. “But what they’re doing in the room right now is really – they’re trying couples counseling for people who want to kill each other. Having a marriage and family counselor for this level of division and these fissures, I cannot overstate how angry some Republican members are with Jordan supporters – not Jordan. His supporters.”

13 of 22 RINO Holdouts Derailing Jim Jordan Are Connected to FTX and Voter Mule Donations

CONGRESSMAN STEVE SCALISE (R-LA), WHO IS UNDERMINING JIM JORDAN FOR HOUSE SPEAKER, TOOK MONEY FROM SAM BANKMAN-FRIED’S ILLEGAL FTX CAMPAIGN FINANCE OPERATION, AS DID 13 OF THE 22 RINO HOLDOUTS

According to Breitbart, Steve Scalise (R-LA) is the driving force behind the twenty-two RINOs who have prevented Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) from clenching the House Speakership after two rounds of votes. Trump-endorsed Jordan is the clear choice of grassroots conservatives. A top House GOP aide reported, “[Constituents] are literally melting the phone lines. Some offices’ numbers are permanently busy. Thousands and thousands of people are calling their members of Congress demanding Jordan for Speaker.”

But several sources are claiming Steve Scalise is orchestrating the holdout that is preventing Jordan from clenching the speakership, including Debbie Dooley, a grassroots activist and Louisiana native:

Why would Scalise want to undermine the clear choice of the people and President Trump? Evidence unearthed by grassroots researchers in Scalise’s home state of Louisiana indicates that Scalise is has taken money from the FTX money laundering scandal.

The Former co-CEO of FTX, Ryan Salame, pled guilty early last month to “Conspiracy to Make Unlawful Political Contributions and Defraud the Federal Election Commission and Conspiracy to Operate an Unlicensed Money Transmitting Business.” Salame admitted that his job at FTX was to illegally funnel money to Republican politicians and political causes, while his co-conspirator, Sam Bankman-Fried, funneled money to Democrats. According to Salame, the donations were to support initiatives supported by Bankman-Fried. Bankman-Fried’s dearest initiative appears to be Joe Biden himself, as he made the second-largest single donation to his 2020 presidential campaign.

Another initiative of Bankman-Fried was Steve Scalise, the man currently preventing Jim Jordan from becoming speaker. Bankman-Fried’s straw donor and co-CEO, Salame, donated $2,900 to Scalise a month before the 2022 Midterms ($2,900 is the maximum donation allowed by an individual):

In fact, thirteen of the twenty-two holdout RINOs also accepted donations from Ryan Salame – almost all of them maximum donations.

The RINOs who accepted these funds include Kay Granger (TX-12th), Mike Simpson (ID-2nd), Carols Gimenez (FL-28th), Jen Higgins (VA-2nd) , Marinette Miller-Meeks (IA-2nd), Mike Lawler (NY-17th), Steve Womack (AR-3rd), Mike Kelly (PA-16th), Mike Simpson (ID-2nd), Mario Diaz-Balart (FL-26th), Linda Chavez-Deremer (OR-5th), Andrew Garbarino (NY 2nd), Tony Gonzales (TX-23rd), and John Rutherford (FL-5th).

ENTRIES FROM FEC RECORD FOR DONATIONS MADE BY RYAN SALAME, FTX CO-CEO

Direct, illegal donations from criminals like Ryan Salame and his co-conspirators are just the tip of the iceberg. It is suspected that FTX, and entities like it, are laundering possibly billions of dollars to politicians and causes all over the country through fraudulent campaign donor mules.

As previously uncovered by The Gateway Pundit and the O’Keefe Media Group, donor mules are people whose identities are being used without their knowledge to launder large amounts of cash into campaign coffers of politicians. These fraudulent donations make it appear that these politicians have significant support from real people, when they are really being funded illegally by special interests. The donations are typically small, but frequent. The small amounts don’t arouse as much suspicion as large donations, but the total amount of cash from single individuals can add up to tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars. Follow-up investigations with the people whose identities are being stolen often reveal that they are average Americans who are really donating only small amounts to one or two candidates, but they are being credited with massive numbers of donations in the Federal Election Commission (FEC) records.

Steve Scalise’s FEC records indicate significant donor mule activity. For example, a retired woman from Marietta, Georgia is credited with donating to Scalise 98 times in a single day with amounts varying from $3 to $22.50:

House Republicans Believe Colleagues Are Voting Against Jordan To ‘Spite Matt Gaetz’

“I have been told by a good number of people that their objection isn’t personal to Jim, it is that voting in Jordan is perceived to be rewarding Matt Gaetz and the rest of the eight,” Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs said.

Gaetz, known for instigating the motion to vacate the chair vote that led to McCarthy’s removal from the speaker position, faces backlash from several House Republicans. They are critical of his move against McCarthy, seeing it as a deviation from the party’s conventional stance.

The dynamics of the speaker race reflect these internal animosities, with a section of the Republicans supporting Jim Jordan, while others favor a more moderate candidate like the former House Majority Leader Steve Scalise. Scalise, however, withdrew from the race, endorsing Jordan instead.

Republicans who back Jordan see this as a potential victory for Gaetz, as Jordan’s election could be interpreted as vindicating Gaetz in his bold usurpation of McCarthy.

Jordan lost again when 25 Reps voted against him. The Reps are back in caucus now, and should not come out until they have a plan. Either 214+ members agreeing on a Speaker or a plan to give McHenry temporary power. This is just sour grapes now.

Livid House Republican Goes Ballistic On CNN Over Children Dragging Out Speaker Chaos

He then lit into his colleagues whose ouster of McCarthy had created “yet another void” in leadership for the House:

To me, it reminds me how incredibly irresponsible it was for 208 Democrats and 8 Republicans to put this House into absolute chaos, without any kind of a plan for how we were going to move forward. Now, we really do need, we really do need somebody to step forward, somebody who is mission driven, somebody who is focused on doing something rather than just being something. Blind ambition has distorted this process enough. We need to go find a leader.
…Let’s be clear, [South Carolina Rep.] Nancy Mace, it’s been a long time since she’s done anything productive to move forward this broader team. America has got real problems, and this is a time where we need people who are interested in problem solving, not self-aggrandizement.
And it’s frustrating. I think most of us know whether you come from South Dakota or South Carolina or Washington State there are always going to be people who are more interested in themselves rather than the team. And I think Americans are sick of it. And I know most members of the House are sick of it. It is time for big boys and big girls to stop with the nonsense and get back to work for the United States.

Raju asked Johnson what he thought would happen now, and the congressman replied he thought they needed “to take a little time to decompress from what was a difficult environment, and we will need to have some people to do some soul searching, I think we will need to find some people who never thought of themselves in this way, somebody who has not spent five or ten years trying to become Speaker of the House. We need to find somebody who, frankly, understands that this may well be the last opportunity they have to serve in politics. We have dealt ourselves an incredibly difficult hand.”

Rep. Ken Buck Gets Eviction Notice from Landlord After Casting Vote Against Jordan for Speaker

GOP Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado said he has received a notice of eviction because he refused to support Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan’s bid to become speaker of the House.

Buck appeared on NBC News’ “Meet the Press Now” on Thursday to talk about the response to his stance.

“So far I’ve had four death threats,” he said. “I’ve been evicted from my office in Colorado — I have a notice of eviction because the landlord is mad with my voting record on the speaker issue.”

Buck added that “everybody in the conference is getting this.”

Exclusive – Texas Republican John O’Shea: Kay Granger ‘Matriarch’ of Opposition to Jim Jordan Speakership Bid

Texas conservative John O’Shea said on Breitbart News Saturday that House Appropriations Committee Chair Kay Granger (R-TX) was the “matriarch” of the Republican opposition to Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) bid for Speaker of the House.

O’Shea spoke to Breitbart News Saturday host Matthew Boyle as 25 House “Republicans” blocked House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jordan’s Speakership bid.

Granger was one of the more prominent members to oppose Jordan, the Republican Speaker nominee, as she serves as the chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee.

O’Shea — a businessman who hopes to primary Granger — said that Granger represents “what is wrong with the country.”

He explained, “We have a ruling class of political professional politicians and this oligarchy does not care about their constituents.”

O’Shea added, “What does Kay do? Does she listen to her constituents, no. She goes her own path as the chairwoman of appropriations, never meeting a spending bill that she does not love. She decided to be the matriarch of the opposition.”
