How concerned are you about retirement?

I'm def using some of my retirement funds. Hell, isn't that what it's for? To be able to afford things and toys in your retirement? Well, I'm retired, and spending some of it! But, I'm also making far more than I'm taking out, balance is always increasing (overall, not so much right now...). Even after my spending splurges, my beneficiaries will be very happy.

Nothing wrong with spending what investments are throwing off, to me that is not spending retirement funds. Selling off asset's stocks, real estate liquidating bonds to fund retirement is.

Sounds like you did some major planning, congratulations well done! It is definitely a feeling of peace knowing it would take a financial meltdown to send the train off the tracks!:bann::bann:
Not really, I took a Union Trade job that came with a pension and a company paid annuity.
I signed up for the company's 401 at my step father's insist.
Thirty yrs ago my step father introduced me to his money man, I agree with what he tells me to do with money.
I'm not an investment money knowledgeable person.
I just listened to a few that were.

That's what I mean, I still buy toys, too many toys at that.
