Best Buy sells a prenatal yoga video. The poses are modified for each trimester. It might have some poses that will help you. I know in the last few weeks I am already more flexible but I am sure as my pregnancy progresses it will get harder.

Congrats Mr and Mrs DosGattos!

I prepare it like a heroin addict about to shoot up. Its really sick. I have spoons and cups stashed all over work and home..and a bag of ice in the freezer at work.

I was the same way. CONSTANTLY chewing ice. And then someone told me it was actually a sign of anemia. I don't know how true that is, but I figured a doc would have caught that doing bloodwork. I've always been on the anemic side of the house, so maybe...

TODAY...A PAIN IN THE RIBS...TOMORROW...A PAIN IN THT A$$! I had the same problem with my 10 pounder. I got some relief laying flat on the floor, and by applying pressure to the area that hurts. 38 years later, a small portion of the bottom of the rib cage is still numb! Be careful eating Ice, because you can crack your teeth without knowing it until you get a cavity in that spot. Good luck. This too shall pass.

I still suggest getting on all fours. It entices the little one to change position. It doesn't happen in a matter of minutes, but you should do this for at least one hour. My doctor suggested a nice warm shower (to relax your muscles) and a light meal (to wake the baby) just prior to doing this. Give it at least an hour and see if baby will change positions.

The best way I got my girls to move when I was at the end of my pregnancy was to soak in the bath. That always got them moving!

my daughter actually bruised one of my ribs... or *I* bruised the rib from all of the constant pushing that I did trying to get her to move! I was living on mild painkillers for the last month or so because of it.

And I second the poster who said to be careful of the ice - I cracked 3 of my teeth from eating too much ice and didn't even know it until baby was about 6 months old and I went for my dental check-up. I ended up with 2 root canals and crowns and one extraction. ouch! Gotta say though... that ice was worth it, that stuff is like crack when you are pregnant for sure!

good luck in your last 10 weeks - I remember that felt like forever, I couldn't wait to get that baby out!! It will all be worth it soon enough though.

What love is all about
I spent the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy with my son stuck under my right side ribs. I could not get him to move at all, no matter how much I pushed on him. He had no where to go I guess. I spent a good two weeks or more after I had him with my ribs still sore, I guess he bruised them from being stuck under them. I mean when you looked on that side you could see that my ribs were pushed out farther than the other side. Hmmm maybe he cracked them.

And craving ice falls under PICA which is a sign of anemia.

I have now moved to a new level in my sickness with ice. I had my blood tested and I am good to go. I just gotta have it. My momma in law who lives nearby has an ice crusher..and I go pick up bags of it at her house like I am scoring from a dealer. It's insane. Even more insane is that everyone's ice tastes different, and I could very well pick whose house or what place the ice came from.

baby has lately given my ribs a little break...though a limb of some sort has found my bladder, so I should be careful what I wish for.

:huggy: Are you crunching the ice with your teefies? Cuz my dentist says this can be bad for them. Fractures (or cracks) the teefs. :jameo:

Be careful!!

You gotta get the liquid malox that stuff is the best, it instantly cures heartburn.

If you are looking for pellet ice you gotta hit the Chik Fil A in La Plata that is where I would get mine when I was pregnant

Ohhh--- Love love love the pellet ice at Chick Fil A in LaPlata-
wish ALL places would have those machines.

It saddens me that I will never feel the little toes jabbing at my ribs again.

The heartburn that makes me puke as soon as I eat.

Those hiccups. My daughter was the hiccup monster and still is.

The 3 AM ice cream cravings. ( I do not like ice cream)

One of my best memories ever. After months of only drinking Ensure I ordered EVERYTHING on the hospital menu (they let you do that) I think I had three trays and they all went back empty.

I ate every morsel and it tasted better than any gourmet restaurant I've been to.

Liberty...enjoy this phase.

Before you know it your daughter will learn to say, "NO!"
