Didja see what Tony did to that guy for messing with Meadow? THAT was a beat down. While you're at it you may want to have a "little chat" of your own with the bus driver for making your daughter late. When you do call transportation tell them they need top fix the problem before you do.

Next time it happens do one of these.
-Have your daughter get off the bus at school and go directly to the principle office and call the cops and file charges and don't stop with just that, make sure he appers in front of a judge and I'm sure he'll stop.

One must be very careful when teaching their daughter various painful self defense moves.
I can just see this in a few years.

Make damn sure that there aren't 2 sides to this story. Make sure she didn't tease him, first. You know how girls can be. They think they can get away with stuff because they are girls.

My girl has a "bully" at school also and I think she handled it wonderfully at their last encounter
Girl got her yearbook the other day and left it on her desk when she left class for a couple of minutes....boy took a highlighter and wrote "B!TCH" on the front cover

at this point in the game, so do I.Pete said:
I will however follow up with the proper people as to a few things that bother me about this.
1) it seems that the stomping took place when the bus driver asked the boy to come to the front for a moment so she could talk to him. This was done while the bus was in motion on the road.
2) the boys mother boarded the bus yesterday morning and discussed the situation with the bus driver. Im not comfortable with adults I dont know boarding the school bus when it is full of children.
3) whatever was said by the parent caused the bus driver to hold my daughter and two of her friends back and lecture them.
I find the biggest problem to be the friendship between the mother and the driver, and the driver putting that friendship before her responsibilities. This is called "misuse of authority" and should be pursued with transportation and BOE.
As school ends in just a few days I would give daughter absolute permission to smack down the kid on the last day of school.

I can't believe anybody pointed this out, but young boys are the worst for picking on, hitting, punching girls they have crushes on.
In regards to the bus driver singling out your daughter and friends, I would contact the friends' parents and see if they are willing to file a complaint with you as well. There is power in numbers. Definitely file a complaint with everybody possible - transportation and school. Again, there is power in numbers, and if it actually has to be taken further, you have all the bases covered and there is a record of your complaints.
Finally, off the school bus, if the little monster pesters your daughter again, she should have full parental authority to pimp slap him.

So it is possible he was being an ass and the driver called him to the front? I remember riding the bus and moving around when it was moving, not exactly the safest I suppose but not exactly running with scissors either.bcp said:

Like someone said most of the time it takes 2 to tango. Schools/teachers/bus drivers rarely if EVER just pick 1, they lecture both. Hell when my sister and I used to fight we both got the belt and she always caused it.
I empathise with your concern as a parent but I think you might be over reacting. Monitor, but let it run its course. You did your part, the kids mom knows and she has taken some action. The bus driver knows and she/he took some action. :shrug:
