I don't want to build a whole library, but occasionally, there is something I'd like to go back to time and again. Anyone know of any tools to download youtube videos?

My daughter downloads them, not sure how she does it. I just save them to my favorites.

Create a new folder in your favorites and save them there. That way you know right where they are and don't have to scroll through all your random favs..

Firefox has add ones that let you download right from the video page. It creates an icon under the video and you can select the quality.

You could also try FVD suite, it will let you download a video from any site. Once the program is active any web page with video will be scanned and the video will be linked in the program, you just need to click it yo download.

Do a google search. There are several programs that will allow you to copy the videos.
I did it a few years ago to download a copy of a vacation video showing me riding my bike across a river

I installed Freemake this morning...I'm still cussing you. it downloaded some file to check my computer and all I have to do is pay for a registration, and it can fix all the errors. What a deal! I haven't had that happen since my AOL days, and I left them in the mid-90's.

Firefox does have an add-on that allows you to search youtube for specific songs and/or artists. It has a download feature that allows you to save as an MP3 format file. I still need the freemake, though, for longer than 20 minute songs like the one I posted earlier.

Where did you download it from, no problem here?
