How do you pronounce Toot's?

Would THIS face lie?
The present name is after Toots Hayden who ran it for years. My Grandfather actually built the building and ran it for years under the name "Wallace's Bar". I have pictures with the name on the side of the building. (Please don't ask me to find them right now)

i used to work there, the last time i checked, there is a picture of me hanging up, it was from the first bike thing that JAGS did when they were across the street.

since the question was how to pronounce it --- Ive heard it said 2 ways- toots- one syllable -sounds like boots.
then Ive heard it said the county way ( I guess Id call it) Toots-iz - 2 syllables. Figured that was some marble mouth silliness. Like when ppl say "Thats mine's car" Mines isnt a word and when you add possessive or pluralize a word it doesnt add a syllable- unless you dont have a great grasp on spoken English of course.

The guy's name was Toots the S is part of the name so when people call it Toots's they are really just using the possessive and saying they are going to his bar. This comes from a time when Toots still owned the bar and other people herd it pronounced like that and assumed the possessive was the correct pronunciation. Of course I could be wrong, I barely passed my English courses when I was a kid.

The 'like' button was good for lazy ppl such as myself. Good explanation -:yay: makes sense when you put it that way.
