Real sugar. :yay: Sugar in the Raw is pretty good too, but I don't buy it, so I don't use it. I get a bad aftertaste with all the artificial sweeteners.

I am so very blessed
I try to stay away from sugar, but my one real indulgence is a spoon-ful of marshmallow fluff every night after dinner. :yum:

I voted "nothing" because I don't sweeten my food, but that's not entirely true. I use Log Cabin syrup on Vanilla Ice Cream and I eat sweet things like cookies and cakes (not everyday but that's about to change for the worse, I guess).

Sorry, I couldn't respond to your PM directly this afternoon (damn NMCI), but you are SO dead meat.

BTW - my favorite sweetener (besides BL, of course  ) is maple syrup. :yum: REAL maple syrup, not the Log Cabin variety. :barf:

try it!

I didn't realize sweet tea was such a hick thing growing up. No matter which house we went to, always sweet tea. I finally convinced an aunt to try it with Splenda ( you would have thought I asked her to sacrifice her first born) and now I think everyone back home has switched to Splenda. Good stuff :yay:

For all of you carb watchers, beware that a packet of Splenda contains 0.9 grams of carbs. (Similar to other granulated artificial sweeteners.) Not so much until you dump 6 packs into each of your 5 cups of morning coffee.

Many sweeteners have a multiplicative effect. A packet of Sweet 'n' Lo and a packet of Equal is equivalent to four packets of either. One of each into a 20 oz iced tea is almost 'southern' sweet.
