Okinawa is a country? When did they secede from Japan? And you have Japan on your list twice. Plus Puerto Rico is an unincorporated U.S. territory.

Yep, annexed by Japan in the late 1800s, it was originally part of the Ryukyu Kingdom, ask some of the older locals if they consider themselves Japanese, they'll tell you that they are Okinawan, but you would actually have to go somewhere other then North America to do that. :moon:

Not extensive. I've never been on a cruise -these were just my Navy Brat adventures.
US
Canada (on the west side, up by Glacier National Park)
Italy
France
Spain

Canada.

The only other country I desire to visit would be Norway. If I hit the Lotto I plan to spend a fair amount of time traveling Norway.

Great choice. An indescribable place...I've lived and work there...built a house on a remote fjord there..have a son there...and the beauty of the country still takes my breath away.

My family came from here in 1928, my grandmother was 6 years old at the time.

Such a remote and beautiful place... I've spent considerable time in Trondheim and Tromsø but have only spent time out on the islands nearer to Alesund...Harøya in particular, where a close friend of mine lived.

"Home" for me there is the little village of Seljeseth, located west of Eikefjord.

Someday, I hope to visit.

I hear people all the time talk about "1 day". Make a plan to do whatever it is that moves you. Don't put it off any longer, because somehow life ends up getting in the way.

Now you are just making up names.

LOL!...there are many that are far more difficult than that...for example, some of my Norwegian family made their annual trek all the way to Hartlestsnipa last week. The view from there is legendary. You should add it to your bucket list. ;-)

A pic of my son and his gf taken a month earlier from same vantage point:

Not many.

Canada.
Bahamas.
St Martin/St Maarten
France
Italy
Russia
Ethiopia
China.

The last three, because we went there to adopt.
The two before that, because we were traveling through them - to adopt.
And I don't count much of the Caribbean, because they're actually part of the United States,
like St Thomas, St John, St Croix and Puerto Rico.

Perhaps when we retire. Wife has always wanted to tour Italy and Scotland.
