Stop. What happened is that "protesters" invaded Trump rallies and started picking fights. #1, they had no business there; #2, if they got punched in the face they deserved it. So it is
NOT true that "Trump supporters beat up people at rallies."
Please do not lend credence to these bull#### claims and allow them to flourish. You're either interested in truth or you're not. If N7 wants to be an ignorant dumbass that's his right, but you do not have to enable that.

I was making a few points. One, Trump is not responsible for his supporters. If that's true, then so is Bernie, HIllary, Obama, Bush, etc., etc. I am sure N7 can find some obscure article from Media Matters that claims Trump supporters (you know, HIllary supporters dressed in MAGA hats to make it look like they're Trump supporters) went to some rally and verbally harassed or beat up some Bernie supporter. The point was to get away from the "nuh uh, your guy did" attitude and say, "so what?"
Two, it was a distraction. Monello made a point, and the counter was absolutely NOTHING to address Monello's point. It is a common leftist tactic to simply change the subject when the subject is damaging to the leftist's point.
Why do I have to be a "Trump lover" to support MAGA? I would have supported obama if he wanted to work to restore our country instead of continuing to undermine it both domestically and internationally. Through some demented reasoning, he felt we should not be #1 and should lower ourselves to the level of other countries and then they will like us. The democratic way.

So, just to be clear, anti-Trump folks were beat up at Trump rallys (even one where Trump himself called on folks to "knock the hell out of him"), but didn't actually get beat up because they shouldn't have been there in the first place?

Anti-Trump protestors were beaten up because they shouldn't have been there in the first place INSTIGATING AGGRESSION!
A better equivalence would be the robber who broke into the store and the owner bashed him over the head with a shovel and now, the robber wants to complain and sue.

Or is it false only if they were instigating aggression? Regardless if they were, in fact, beaten up...since they instigated aggression, they weren't technically beat up?
