And what do you do to support them?

I DID until some low life scumbag stole it off the vehicle.

We've sent a few care packages to Iraq. A friend of ours is over there right now and is due home next month. We are getting together next weekend to re-paint his porch at his house (one of those to-do projects that got interrupted by going to Iraq) before he gets home as a suprise welcome home gift.

So - I can say I back my words with action...most likely a majority of those who sport those trendy "support our troops" magnets don't do a damn thing to actually "support our troops."

My husband and I took a bunch from True Value because the cashier said they were free. The next time we went in, they were marked $2.99. Oops. They're not on our cars though. We use them to hold the Papa John's menu on the fridge.

But wait, there's more...
The people who have those magnets (except the one who stole Voter's) paid $5 for the thing which is supposedly going to help troops.

What about the people that didn't pay for them, did they steal from our troops?

Now I feel extra guilty. I think we took 5 of them. :bawl:

No, they stole from the store owner, who probably paid up front for them and re-sells them. :ohwell:

But KJo, you were misinformed so it's okay. :huggy:

You got a "Tacky" fridge.
You should see the rest of our house.

I have a "Support Our Troops" magnet holding up my "Have you hugged a Democrat today?" sign. Is that an oxymoron?

My point exactly. Actions speak louder than magnets. Do you really think the guys over there care whether or not you have a magnet on your car?
