My point exactly. Actions speak louder than magnets. Do you really think the guys over there care whether or not you have a magnet on your car?

There's a bulletin board for the troops here on somd.com. Why don't you post the question and see?

I don't need to. I have enough family and friends over there to form an educated opinion.

I have a small, "tasteful" one on the back of my car.

By displaying the magnet, I think I'm showing the world how I support our American ideals of freedom and democracy.

Is that cheesy enough?

I do... I birthed them.
:yeahthat:

I don't have one on my car, though - I have it on my front door. And our Dougie is out-processing right now and expected back home within the next week or so. The DIL has been back for about a week now.

What I have noticed driving into the city over the past two or three months is that these magnets are FREQUENTLY on cars with a Kerry-Edwards and "Don't Blame Me, I voted for Kerry" bumper sticker on the car. Those who were stupid enough to support flip-flop and even more stupid to put a bumper sticker on their car are now trying to get reborn as patriots by plopping an easily removable magnet on their trunk. Nice try numb-nuts but no cigar! :moon:

Super Genius
My office of ~12 people put together a bunch of care packages and sent them. I think we got up to 15 Xerox boxes full of stuff. We also wrote notes in a bunch of Christmas cards and sent them.

No, I don't have a magnet. I do what's right for the sake of what's right, not for recognition.
