How many tornadoes???

Did a tornado touch down in the lexington park or great mills area? my sister just called and said that it did, but i did not hear anything on the scanner about it.

Yep!! :clap: Whether tornado's touched down or not we all pulled together as a community to keep one another updated and help watch each other's back, no matter how much some forumites dislike others, we are all still like family here in Southern Maryland and all pitched in to help feed others valuable information. :huggy: That's awesome! :clap: Hat's off somd.com and their forumites!! :clap: I hope everyone else makes it through okay for the remaining threats and storms:clap: :huggy:

i was in great mills @ pool league and I didnt see anything.... not that that means anything

Not in Great Mills. We just got hit with some pretty wicked straight line winds.

I heard there were tornadoes in Chaptico and Mechanicsville last night too.

I didn't see anything. The only thing I did see was the clouds forming a massively huge arc right before the storm hit. Scared the living #### outta me.

Chesapeake Beach was hit hard. The steel roof of Traders Restaurant was wrapped up in the electrical line and their were rooves missing from townhomes. I just rolled through after it happened....wow

Yeah it was very badly hit! I had to walk over to my Grandmothers to make sure there was no damage.....since the traffic was bad. She lives right next to the ball field! She was lucky, but the others around her were not. The pictures from the news do it no justice, and it makes your heart go out to everyone that was affected! I just hope the county and the town get those poor people squared away! :huggy:

Was out sailing on the Patuxent, just after the first round went through. Thankfully, we got off the water before round two.
