Not that we agree on much but on this we do. Your much better off havign some level of control (call it whatever, we arent debating the term) with your dog than relying on an invisible fence.

The biggest probelm with the Invisible Fences is when they do get out, and they will, the Dog will get trained REALLY FAST that its a bad idea to return home.

That, and the fact that even though the fence will keep your dog in with some training (yes, you have to train still), it won't keep stray dogs or other animals out.

We have a 2 year old boxer and are still trying to train him. I am going to try what you guys are saying with the recall as well. Mine likes to jump like a bull when we first get home. Is this normal with their breed. They are very stubborn but sweet at the same time.
