How to get to 301 Bridge to VA

I'm hearing from someone who lives in Bel Alton that there was a "mudslide" on Bel Alton Newtown Rd and that there is a road closed sign (that she went around). Supposedly lots of dirt and trees across the road. This is secondhand and I don't know her well so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Bel Alton Newtown Rd is open and just fine.

Take 6 and just across from the court house is St. Mary's Avenue on the left. That will take you back out to 301 at the little Rib Shack/used car dealership corner. It is past the sink holes in La Plata.

I used to live on St. Mary's Avenue once upon a time!
