How to link a Twitter post

Since Twitter became X the embed no longer works correctly. To overcome this, when you paste a link to a Twitter post, change the "x" to "twitter".

Example:

https://x.com/Chicago1Ray/status/1812425749346795987

becomes

x.com

x.com

Whereas

https://twitter.com/Chicago1Ray/status/1812425749346795987

becomes:

I usually select the copy link button. Most of the time it works. Occasionally it doesn't.

Twitter now redirects to X ....

for the moment you can still edit a link before posting and the tweet is displayed ....

I was just using Twitter.com .... well
