How young or old?

A friend of mine told me a funny way to figure out your dating age span.

1. Take your age divide it in half , then add 7 yrs. to get the youngest you
can date. (for me this is 24)

2. Take your age subtract 7 yrs, then multiply by two to get the oldest you
can date. ( for me this is 54)

Seems like a big gap to me.

I went out for a few dates with a man 15 years older than us and it was icky We had nothing in common.

Gives off a creepy feeling when the young side is closer to you kids age than your own. Especailly yucky when the high end is almost as old as my dad.

18-30 I'd definitely look towards 30, I can't imagine "dating" an 18-year-old.

54 is totally acceptable to me. I have a seasoned soul and most of my friends were born in the 50s. A 24 y/o, all kidding aside, seems like a baby.
