So anyway, will the "default" route for those traveling Rt 5 be through the bypass, and those wanting to take ye olde route into Hughesville will "turn" off the main route at some sort of turn lane? I know there will be an interchange at Rt 231.
Back on topic. From what I understand, this has changed once or twice, at one time you were only going to be able to come into Hughesville from the north from a merge lane coming off from the bypass and be able to come through downtown

and then only merge into the bypass south of Hughesville somewhere around Carrico Mill Rd., but last thing I heard if your heading northbound there will be a exit from the fast lane across the new southbound lanes to come into Hughesville and pick up the old road , very good place to have many a accident if this is true. Then northbound out of town on the old road, I believe, but I won't put my hand on a bible and sware to it, you will be able to get out of town with a crossover somewhere near the Harley place. Another accident waiting to happen. Gallent Green Rd. will have a new type exit off of Rt. 5, you wont have to make that one right turn and then the quick left turn, now you can just fly off the bypass with nice merge (exit) lane.
