We all sound like a bunch of old fogies. :lmao:
Well, we are according to some. I'm of the firm belief that you are only as old as you feel in your mind. Mostly its young at heart until I have to climb, lift, crawl under a vehicle and my body screams that I am too old to do that.

Back to hummingbirds - haven't seen them, but nectar level is dropping. Given the way the temperature has been bouncing around its any wonder they are around at all.

For your consideration ...

Ever notice that most hummingbird feeders are red or have red somewhere on them? Yup. They are MAGA hummingbirds.
Yep

@my-thyme and I just had that conversation. We talked about putting up a poll, 'how old do you feel'.

I'm 25 in my head. 75-80 in body.

Just got eyes on one, replaced the nectar, stirred up some wasps, now I guess I'll break out the "Bug Assault" once the wind settles a bit.

No hummingbirds at my place, but I did hear a carpenter bee buzzing around somewhere close by.

My feeder is leaking, no birds, nectar almost gone. Upon inspection, I see a drop below a flower and a puddle on the ground.
