Sharon said:I've had some feeders up for weeks. This weekend is about the time I start to see and hear them. The first time they "buzz" me usually gives me quite a startle.

Sorry guys but I'm going to put up one of my feeders this weekend. They won't be out in full force until mid to late June.
BS Gal said:I've had mine up since the weekend I met Dems, which was maybe three/four weeks ago? Somebody posted a map that showed they were in the area then, though scarce. Man, I should have just PM'd you......

It's hard to pick a favorite as I love to sit and watch all the birds.FancyBelle said:Try finches, they are easier to keep around! I love them

I have many goldfinch and house finches, along with titmouse, woodpeckers, Carolina wrens, cardinals, blue jays, blue birds, mourning doves, sparrows, nuthatches, chickadees, robins, plus a hawk & an owl. Once in a while I'll see water birds flying over the house with fish in their feet flying back to their nests.
I know the hawk and the owl are here to feed on the other ones or rodents, but they are a sight to see.
