Hummingbirds or Lack Of

Placed my hummingbird feeders out over a month ago and still have yet to see one. No one has answered if they've seen any so far this year. Well, has anyone see the little ones yet?

There are several web sites that track the migration. Just google, hummingbird migration maps.:howdy:
Remember, they need a food source other than your feeders!
Look around and see what there is for them to eat right now....

Saw my first hummer sunday and another this morning! My feeders have been out for the last several weeks. They were two different birds, one green and one grey. I can't identify which types they were. I need to check out one of the hummer websites for a little education.

They've polished off half of one feeder but aren't touching the other. I must have mixed it up wrong.

Have you seen any? It's odd that you'd have enought right now to finish off a feeder. Is it within reach of any critters?

I only have up one feeder right now and make sure I change it out every week. They don't like icky water.

We have seen them for a week or so. Their feeding habits seem different this year the same for the blue birds. They weren't interested in the meal worms that we put out. It must be weird weather related.

The green one was a male and the grey one was a female. You will find that in most bird species, the male is the more colorful one. I saw a female hummer for the first time Sunday. None since.

I've had my feeder out for a few weeks, too, but I've only been seeing the hummers for the last week. I think they are frequenting my columbines and do they like azaleas? (Of course, those are just about finished blooming.....)

And that video was the sweetest!

I haven't seen them but the feeders are hanging from the eave of the porch where nothing can reach it. No puddles or drops under it either.
