Good for 2 out of 3.

I heard one predictor which said if Dad initiates sex, the resulting child will be male and vice versa. Also, the same source said that the chances for a boy are increased if Dad finishes first. There was also some discussion of position, but I don't remember what it said.

So if you want to carry on the family name, let D take the lead.

I did the calculations for myself and my two siblings. It correctly predicted the sex for my brother and I, but my sister was supposed to be a boy.

Hey!! Where'd you get my tattoo pic??:whip:

Bogart!! I was emailed that one end lots of others, so if HS wants to hold out on you, I would be glad to hook you up!!!

Oh BTW:One was good(girl) and one was bad(boy, supposed to be girl), I also figured my brother and I and they were both correct according to when we were conceived.

I say the gender is determined by the father, we may as well give 'em credit for SOMETHING!!! LOL

All creatures are inherently female until the addition of the male ju-ju, or so I have read. Therefore, we are all a bunch of biatches, some of us just have more balls than others!!!!

Sheesh....

Okay, it was 50/50. Both kids were conceived in June, born in March, one week apart (5 years). Both boys. The first is supposed to be a girl according to the chart. I'm not telling him.

Be about it
:cartwheel Pretty good success rate.

Need to do more research, but I've also heard that the mother's diet can make things go either way because of the acidity in her system at the time. Never know. Not as if I'll take extreme measures, but I'll do a few little things to sway the odds in my favor.

You need to become an authority on the subject and subject her to your "knowledge."

Make sure everything she does is going to be detrimental to the baby. Everything she does is going to make her a bad mommy. Make sure you criticize her for having caffeine (causes hyperactivity in the fetus, it could tie up it's cord plus they could be born addicted to it), artificial sweetners(leads to defects), too much sugar(hyperactivity), undercooked and/or grilled meats (bacteria causes defects), Nuts (causes food allergies), The radiation from microwaves and computers screens can cause defects. No perms or hair color (chemicals get into the blood stream)...

Do a search on pregnancy myths, it'll give you plenty of ideas.

And make sure she knows quite well that you are the supreme authority, in spite of not actually having children yourself.

Attention all preggos and preggo wannabes: The above warnings are all bogus and intended to cause paranoia and fear in all mothers to be. Do not, repeat, DO NOT try this advice at home.

She has colored hair, drinks caffeinated Diet Coke constantly, loves cookies and cakes, is a BIG meat eater, sits in front of a computer all day while on the phone...but...she did give up smoking and doesn't like nuts. :lmao:

Of course. :lmao: I can give her GREAT advice on raising the little hoodlums, too. :roflmao:

 I didn't want anyone to think I actually believed that stupid crap. I heard plenty of it when I was pregnant. My SIL who had no children was a nurse in Labor and Delivery at Hopkins at the time. She didn't know squat but thought she did. I was amazed to find out how much she didn't know, especially given her job. But I will never forget the note of distain in her voice when she saw me drinking a Coke. :duh:
