How is this different than the democrats? They want to be in office, with all the perks that affords them, but they don't want to be responsible for anything, or answerable to their constituents.

The leftists crave power, both for the sake of being in power, as well as the ability to reshape the rest of us into their image. How is this different than the democrats?
Hysterical.do you folks think OBL is dead? Hunter can ((cough cough,)) (die) with no coroner inquiry and move to the OBL island. Just like Fantasy Island with "little people" , tons of Cocaine and those two guys that were caught with 150,000 fentanyl pills and released with no bond. By the way, where was Epstein buried?
Pretty funny huh???

100% right. There never was a war on drugs. Not a war in the countries that supply it and are run by the Cartels and not a war in the US. We spent a time of war in Afghanistan and never destroyed one poppy field. This is why I laugh in the face of dumb progs who declare the War on Drugs to be a failure. There was never a "war on drugs", definitely not at the federal level. There's a "gimme all that drug money" and there's "sedate the public into compliance" but there is no war on drugs.
it's now in cookies and candy and being sold over the counter in some states,

Agreed that this is silly, but I think the distinction is that the pot gummy people aren't allowed to advertise. Like Joe Camel was okay, as long as you didn't put him on the TV or a billboard.Think about that: no flavored vape because it might appeal to kids, yet pot gummies - literal drug candy - is a legal and highly touted thing.
War on drugs, my ass.
They don't freaking need to advertise. People are chafing at the bit to buy their rubbish,The fentanyl people didn't advertise either, and despite all warnings people are still waiting in line for it.Agreed that this is silly, but I think the distinction is that the pot gummy people aren't allowed to advertise. It also just occured to me that this flavored vape ban is a federal thing, and as far as the feds are concerned all pot is illegal, gummy or brownies or whatever.Think about that: no flavored vape because it might appeal to kids, yet pot gummies - literal drug candy - is a legal and highly touted thing.

So I suppose if the vape companies wanted to limit themselves to operateing solely within a single state and the state passes a bill specifically legalizing flavored vapes and then the FDS/Feds choose not to go after the new vape companies, then it would be equivalent.
What is that supposed to mean? Yes I came up with the rules, I am in charge. Is that what you came up with?
What is that supposed to mean? Yes I came up with the rules, I am in charge.
It's pretty simple really.
You were apparently claiming it's hippocritical to ban flavored vapes in the name of protecting children while allowing pot gummies.
I simply pointed out that the people banning vapes are not being hippocrites because they have also banned ALL pot, including gummies.
So your argument doesn't make sense.
Now I will stop responding here because I know you will respond with some inane bullshet. You never admit that you are wrong except in jest, like "I thought you were smarter than this, I guess I was wrong".
I suppose it is a Federal violation to buy and use Gummie bears and cookies with Marijuana in tham. What is that supposed to mean? Yes I came up with the rules, I am in charge.

I also suppose that if it is a Federal law it should be enforced, so obviously it isn.t as there are also 20 Pot growing facilities right here in Maryland and no federal raid is taking place.
So is it against the law or not and if it is why isn't the Government doing something about it. They arrested and hung out to dry enough people during prohibition. If the law is there with no one enforcing it then those who have that law and refuse to enforce it are hypocrites. Change the law or enforce it.
So, abortion should be handled at the state level, but not medical pot? States rights are states rights. Either accept that or turn it all over to the Fed.
Agreed. The Fed has gotten too damn big and we the tax payers are footing the bill.I think pretty much everything should be handled at the state level. That's why we're called the "United States".
