Hunter in need of some land!

We have recently relocated to St. Mary's County and my husband is missing his hunting hobby. Anyone know of some good hunting land for him to hunt. Please let me know.

I'm looking myself. There are several public hunting areas here I have only been to one, Greenwell State Park. If he will hunt public land he can find info on them through the MD DNR website. What area do you guys live in? I'm in Mechanicsville. Does he bow hunt?

The Elm's Property in St. James's (south of Pax River) you need to get a permit from DNR to hunt there. There is (was?) a bow only area on Cornfield Harbor Rd (north of Point Lookout). :yay:

He does it all. He enjoys it very much. He has been hunting on a farm with crop damage permits but not sure what will be going on this year.

We should stay in touch. Not sure about him but I could use someone to hunt with. I have a friend on the Sheriff's Dept that is going to try and locate some private land to hunt on as well. I'll keep you informed.
