That ^. I have to provide anyone who is hunting from my blinds with a xerox copy of my license and a signed note on it saying they have permission to hunt there.
I know someone who brushes up a pontoon boat and moves from place to place. Is this not legal? I bet he's gonna be surprised. :killingme

Of course. I have two onshore and one offshore blind on my own property and there are also plenty of guys out there hunting from boats. When a group of them all go off with their semi-auto shotguns, its sounds like all hell has broken loose...LOL. That's particularly common when the clock rings the official daily start time to hunt and all the ducks or geese that have been draw in around the decoys get it all at once.

I hunt with a guy who favors a 10 ga..and is big enough to use it handily. My son started out with a youth 20-ga pump. The other two of us use 12s. (Blind holds 4). so a flock comes in, it sounds like this" Bam!..bam!..Bam!...BOOM!
That pesky blind registration sign brought me harassment from a land owner on the opposite side of the St Mary’s River. I believe I was the only one in the county with the last name I have so I want hard to find. He called and threatened to pour corn out and call DNR to tell them I was hunting over bait to calling my wife and trying to turn her against me for shooting waterfowl. He was a pain in the ass but I hinted their more than my other site that entire season. I was going to register a site the next season on his shoreline but he wised up and registered it as well as convincing all other landowners in the area to do the same.

We're seeing more and more of "those kind" moving in to the Piney Point/SGI area.

You have to hunt from within "state designated" water areas if its not a licensed site. But you probably knew that.... ;-p

No, actually I don't. I help maintain the boat for my buddy, but never hunt with him. My 60 year old shoulder couldn't stand it. They hunt out around St. Clements, I think. A travelling band of misfits.

Gee...a "traveling band of misfits" from 7D. Why does that sound so familiar?

Whomever these guys are, I found a large empty bottle booze that floated in right from where they had their boat only twenty feet from shore.

Perfect morning for waterfowl hunting. Low fog/mist surrounding everything....but not a thick fog. As soon as the clock struck dawn, it sounded like a 4th of July fireworks display around the island. I knew as soon as I looked out the window toward the cove that the ducks would be in and the hunters would be on them.

Weird...most of us hunt with just a personal flask tucked inside our coveralls.
