Hyperspace?!?

I'm sure all of you with kids know that Hyperspace has been closed since the fall. It was supposed to re-open with renovations April 1st. I just went to the website and it says, thanks for your support over the past 6 years. Are they permanently closed?

There is also Jump yard on greatmills rd. Lots of people have posted about it, but thought i would throw it out there again. Very clean and lots of fun for the kiddos:)

I was hoping it would be cleaned up and renovated enough to go back. I agree it was dirty, worn and old. Wishful thinking I suppose.

My kids and I love the jumpyard.

We have not tried the new place in leonardtown - kids too small.

wish we had more rainy day options in SOMD.

I have heard that they are turning it into a pub/restaurant downstairs and live bands upstairs.

How could that place close?!?!

As much as I hate that place, my kids love it even more... I always figured that place must be a gold mine (except for the liability insurance).

Anytime we were there, it was packed and at least 1 party going on. Too bad it's not working out, the kids need things to do down here.

the kids loved it, but the bathrooms' recycled water umm :barf:

there were typically a handful of games that didn't work.

the decorating was ok...my kids liked the teen boys that worked the birthday parties there.

Get a life.........

I know the owner and she was a VERY hard worker. She did her best. Its not easy to run a business with all you people around here whining and complaining about EVERYTHING! Oh and by the way i know that nothing went up her nose so leave your nose out of her business....................

Yeah, I really didn't know her THAT well so I wasn't going to go on a rant defending her..because for all I know she did have a secret coke life :lol:, but as far as I know she is a loving mother of a few kids :shrug:

I will just say that there is no reason to spread rumor unless you have first hand knowledge of the subject, like mombeep apparently does :yay:
