As I said before, I think the current definition of liberal is "anyone who’s opinion you do not agree with." The actual meaning of a word tends to be an inconvenience for many people.

Like people who are afraid of change are any better then those who don't consider the consequeses of the changes they try to bring about.

I think a lot of people just want to be included in whatever category is currently the most popular.
