at noon, I went to a family owned pizza place for lunch. as I sat down, a group, maybe 15-20 people, ages 18-22 maybe, came in. they stood in line patiently, talked between themselves quietly. there were no baggy ass dragging jeans, blue hair, nose rings etc... they ordered food, and thanked the cashier, got their sodas and were very respectful.

NOT ONE RAISED THEIR VOICE, THERE WAS NO JUMPING ON THE COUNTER, NO FOOD HURLING, NO LOUD CELL PHONES. was I in America???

mystery solved... it was a Church group from Kentucky. But, how nice.

I will never forget my trip to Dollywood 3 years ago and how I was pleasantly surprised at the clientele there. Very nice and polite kids/teenagers dressed respectfully as well, though that is part of the park rules. Most of these kids were in a church group or had a strong religious background. Unlike that amusement park 2 hours to the west of us.... When I see things like this or like my HI Express visit last week, it does restore my faith in America. We can return to the days of yore with the right leaders.

I left alone, my mind was blank
I needed time to think
To get the memories from my mind
What did I see? Can I believe?
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy?

Nice when you see the younger crowd being respectful of the employees and other patrons eating in the establishment.
