Operation Choke Point was an effort by Obama administration officials to destroy lawful businesses that they personally disliked by intimidating finance companies into denying them service.

Last week, Stephen E. Boyd, assistant attorney general for the Justice Department’s Office of Legislative Affairs, wrote a letter to House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., saying that Operation Choke Point was “misguided” and that “law abiding businesses should not be targeted simply for operating in an industry that a particular administration might disfavor.”

Although Operation Choke Point is now over, the federal government’s power to target individuals, groups, and corporations remains as vast and murky as ever. That is due to an excess of federal criminal law and regulations that most people have never heard of.

Operation Choke Point Is Over. But Without Major Reforms, It Could Happen Again.

Aside from Nixon, what evidence is there that conservatives use hidden programs like this? I always see conservatives using open legislation.

Pretty sure the porn biz in Indiana is pretty small :) Nothing concrete, just think that Pence is a bit on the "My morality should be yours too" side of things for my taste.

I'm pretty sure that you have never been to Indianapolis, Evansville, Gary, Muncie,Anderson and many other towns here. The sex industry is alive and well here just like other city's across America. Don't kid yourself, sex is revenue and revenue pays taxes.
Adult / sex stores always have back parking lots, that's for the religious crowd to park and shop / drink so no one sees them.

Do they have parking in the front for people who don't care if others know that they are perverts?

Pretty sure I've spent time In Indianapolis and Terre Haute with a couple of visits to Bloomington. I'm not talking about the consumer end, but the producer end. Pretty sure the amount of porn produced in IN is pretty small part of the total.

With all the porn on the internet why would anyone go to a porn shop?

So is the regular film industry in Indiana.

I would guess, for instant gratification when buying one of those magical humming facial massagers, harness's and other equipment for " hitching " up the team.

The retail sex and gun industry has been affected with these same issues in the last 10+ years also.
