I have heard the words before but I have never heard anyone refer to a group of kittens as a kindle or a group of cats as a clowder! They are refered to as a group of kittens. Or a group of cats!
Makes you wonder why Amazon named the e-reader a "Kindle"

I don't know about you, but I can't read anything in my house without a cat trying to sit on top of it.
