tks. Wasn't the 'right way to do it' but shiat happens. Tomorrow I am going back and trying on the next smaller size. If they fit well enough I can take the ones I just bought in some. They fit fine for the first hour and then become loose. damn more money spent. But I am worth it! Thank goodness I have a sewing machine and know what I'm doing thanks to my seamstress mother (who made sure I knew how to sew) (I made my wedding dress)! So they (the jeans) won't go to waste.
