Yes you need two people to vouch for you, but members can take guest, taht may be your best way in.

I think that the "official" rules at Sauner's Lake is that a member can take an "out of town guest" to the range and shoot, but I doubt that they ask for I.D. I put in my application and paid the money to join, but was denied for this year because they were/are at full membership. I'm told it can take several years to get in.
