I forgot how grossly awful Windows ME is...

Today, I ran across a computer with the god awful Windows ME. This is an operating system I have not seen in years, thank god. It curses you just to look at it. So I plug my USB flash drive to run a diagnostics (since Windows ME told me it was an AMD Athlon processor 300MHz). It CRASHES.

Ooh. That's an OS I haven't heard of in a while, thankfully *shuddertwitch* Hell I don't even run Windows anymore, it's Ubuntu Linux for me. Husband's computer has XP, we're waiting for all the bugs/kinks to get worked out of Vista before taking that plunge.

I won't upgrade. I ALREADY KNOW my days of watching TV on my PC are done with Vista, so, yeah... I have a copy lying around, just refuse to put it on any machine of mine.

I got a copy in my last M$ Action Pack subscription ........ and it ios staying on the shelf ..........

I'd rather sever my arm with a rusty knife than install Vista... I was thankful when we upgradded my work comp from ME to XP... took them years, but I finally got it done... I hated ME with a passion... I wanted to uninstall it and go back to 98 but nooo... stupid higher ups...
