Glenn Beck Responds to Angel Adams’ Statement That People Should Pay | TheBlaze.com

Beck, of course, had plenty to say about Adams’ view that others must financially support her family. “Close the legs, lady. Close the legs. Anybody have a tranquilizing dart they can shoot me with?,” he joked. Beck continued:

“Lady. Did you have your pants off maybe too many times in your life? Is that possible? Is it possible? What are you out doing? What are your children out doing? I’d like to know. How many of them are even mowing somebody’s lawn? How many of them are actually out trying to take any job, any job? Not a good job. Any job. What is it you have done? Have you thought about birth control? Here’s an idea. Have you thought about marrying a man?

Have you thought about marrying a man or not having kids with a man who isn’t going to jail? Have you thought about, you know, maybe we should slow down on the sex thing? Accountable? I’m not accountable for your life. I am accountable for my life. I have been working my ass off, lady. What have you been doing?”

For anyone who thinks this is a cherry picked vid from some random crazy lady..

I have a facebook "friend" who routinely complains about the "service" she gets from various local social programs. WIC made her go back and get the right cheese, she had a long wait at SS, etc etc..this mentality is alive and well. And I would argue that it is shared by the MAJORITY of the recipients, not a fringe few. This is why I am against nearly all welfare "social" programs. WIC, TANF, food stamps etc etc. I fully believe the majority of it is fraud, waste, and abuse. Just today they were talking about a woman who lived in 1.2 million dollar home with her husband who was recieving money since 2002 for various things. Even telling them her husband was her landlord, and having 1200 a month given to him in housing assistance. And they are ACTUALLY married, while I know several women who do not get married so they can continue to call themselves single mothers and reap the benefits. It's disgusting. I budget and save and deny myself things every month to ensure my daughter is well taken care of, and no less than 8 women I can think of off the top of my head sit at home all day and collect money while sending their kids off to headstart. Then have the absolute NERVE to complain about the level of service they recieve like it's a fricken holiday inn.

I have lost nearly all of my compassion. It's sad, because I do not like to be that way. But frankly I would love to see each and every one of them out on their ass living in a cardboard box like they deserve. I'd love to see how quick they would get a job then. :coffee: I looked up income levels one day for the diff programs in MD, and they have it set up so that basically, if you work a full time job, even at min wage, it is is impossible to get assistance unless you have several children. That's crazy. It bypasses totally people who are trying to help themselves..and purposely helps only those who don't work, only work part time, or those who have choosen to irresponsibly procreate like a rabbit. who thought that up?

I need to be queen. I could fix this shiat right quick.

We must have the same friends. It is sickening. Our company is sponsoring 6 boys for Christmas this year. They are all excited about it, but I recognized the kids names from the football team my oldest played on. Multiple vehicles, name brand clothes...and looking for someone else to pay for Christmas. Drives me insane!!

Reform MUST start small

A few communities...just like the ones who make it very difficult for illegals to swarm in, must create conditions that prevent cheap housing, slash food subsidies to schools (ie free breakfast, lunch & dinner), and revive laws about abandonment of families (ie child support based on DNA). How about limited unemployment benefits after 6 months?

Once you start to chisel away at the at all the freebies...you are indirectly teaching self reliance. Additional benefits include less loitering, graffiti, gang activity, and Library babysitting. Thus: the standard of living IMPROVES for those who pay the taxes.

Now a serious charge toward our churches: You have tax exempt status...Fine: but what are you doing to help meet needs in the community? We need to yank power away from the government--teaching less dependence on state government & more reliance on community. So: Churches: Aid baskets? Thrift stores? Low cost baby sitting (while mothers work)? Assistance to families of convicts? Tutoring GED's? Big Brother-Big Sister? Time to step up to the plate and help your community.

There was a story about this and Appalachia.. had to do with Robert Kennedy so it was downplayed a lot.

First scene.. Appalachia.. Dirt POOR people living in shacks, or tents, but they ate, were self sufficient, and they were HAPPY. People in the community worked together to make sure everyone survived, and had food on the table.

Second Scene.. same faces in Appalachia, Gov't provided "house", gov't provided food.. people were no longer self sufficient, didn't have to farm or hunt.. and they were MISERABLE.

I bet we go back today not only would they be miserable, they'd complain about the build quality of their house, and whine that they don't get enough supplemental food stamps to eat steak once or twice a week, and complain that they can't get beer using the gov't program (that's just not FAIR that someone with a job can drink beer and we can't).

Agree with everything you said. It's disgusting how easy it is to be lazy, have no self respect and get paid for it. Do away with all this entitlement crap or hire people to crack down on all the fraud. So tired of it.

That's an outrageous lie!

There's no way a welfare queen is actually married to her baby-daddy...it ruins her chances of free cheese!

Cut her and the kids off. Send the kids to orphanages, and put her in a rehab program followed by extended incarceration.

Yes, her words were that someone needs to be held accountable. Of course, she doesn't include herself or her multiple baby daddies in that. What a pos. The baby daddy of 10 of her 15 kids is in jail and her kids are in a shelter with her not allowed to visit them because she's complete trash.

Yep........this is exactly why welfare rats (both male & female) need to be sterilized after they have one child they choose not to support.

Somebody said something very similar to that, regarding accountability...let's see...who was it...what did they say?

Oh, yeah, now I remember:
Michelle Malkin » Obama to Congress: We May Need to Stay in DC and Work Through the Holidays — If You Need Me I’ll Be in Hawaii

“Now is not the time to slam the brakes on the recovery. Right now, it’s time to step on the gas. We need to get this done. And I expect that it’s going to get done before Congress leaves. Otherwise, Congress may not be leaving, and we can all spend Christmas here together.”
