How many health issues do you breed with these cats?
Persians have such a long list of health issues due to controlled breeding.
Just the deformed skull to start with, misaligned teeth, inability to groom the fur your breed into the line, kidney disease..problems with their eyes because of the brachycephalic skull shape. dental problems, again because of the skull shape.
They may be "cute" to you, but must be horrible for a cat to live like that and then to have to endure the pains of being cared for because of these deliberate deformities.
The is NO reason to breed cats for any reason. Sadly your ego is the driving force to be able to brag you have been a breeder for so many years.
I have read that Persian breeders are reverting back to a more normal face to help reduce some of these health problems.
Butterflies I can accept, but not the intentional deforming of cats!
It is a good thing that does not happen to human children!
